Dr. Daniela Dimitrova

Dr. Dimitrova's research focuses on Political Communication and Information and
Communication Technologies (ICTs). Professor Dimitrova's
primary area of interest is cross-cultural media coverage of conflict events,
such as wars and terrorist attacks. Publications about international news framing
of the 2003 Iraq War, coverage of national elections, and the McVeigh execution
have appeared in leading mass communication journals. Recent articles have
examined the use and abuse of online footnotes
in academic journals. Dr. Dimitrova has published more than 30 journal
articles and book chapters since joining Iowa State. You can see a selected
